The core objective of this project was to provide training and resources to both refugees and local residents in apiary management. By equipping them with the necessary skills and tools for beekeeping, AFCE aimed to create sustainable livelihoods through honey production. The project involved extensive training sessions on apiary management techniques and the distribution of beehive equipment to facilitate successful honey farming.

The total amount allocated for this project was UGX 289,000,000. This funding was utilized to cover training programs, purchase and distribution of beekeeping equipment, and other necessary resources to ensure the project’s success.
