Parmu Innocent: From Street Idler to Street Vendor
Parmu Innocent: From Street Idler to Street Vendor

Parmu Innocent, a 20 year old from Acana Centre Youth Group, used to spend his mornings idling at the trading center while his parents worked in the garden. This led to many disappointments and hardships. His life took a turn for the better thanks to the Next Wave Project by AFCE, funded by The Innovation Village. The project provided training in bakery skills and startup capital to his group. Now, Parmu sells bakery products and no longer starts his day late. He has gained respect from peers, can afford basic necessities, and his parents are proud of him. Parmu plans to expand his business into a commercial bakery, as the venture has proven to be successful.
