Orombi Lambert Yalo, a member of Agwechi Savings Group, has seen his family bonds strengthen during the COVID-19 lockdown. Training on gender equality through the coffee value chain project prompted him to share household chores and discuss family matters with his wife and children. Although the lockdown has affected their income due to falling agro-produce prices, Lambert values the increased family time and shared responsibilities. He aims to be a model for positive change in his community, despite facing cultural resistance.
