Anirwoth Fosca, a 19 year old from the Aguda Mix Youth Apiary Group, was initially afraid of handling bees due to past experiences of bee stings. However, the Next Wave Project by AFCE, funded by the Innovation Village, changed that. The training on sustainable beekeeping, local hive creation, and bee product processing reignited her passion. Fosca now manages three bee hives and aims to increase them to ten by December 2024. The training has motivated her to pursue apiculture as a business.
